We’re thrilled to announce the successful kick-off meeting of our latest research project, WAGEs (Wide Adoption of Ground Source Energy), held on April 4th at the Cyprus University of Technology in Lemesos.

WAGEs aims to revolutionize the market of Cyprus by advancing and promoting Shallow Geothermal Energy (SGE) through the expansion of our infrastructure and the facilitation of knowledge and equipment accessibility for industrial and scientific use.

With a focus on leveraging Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs), WAGEs will foster collaboration between SMEs and academia to:

🛠 Provide industry with essential tools and equipment.
♻️ Enhance energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy sources in building heating and cooling.
📚 Foster knowledge exchange and expertise development among universities, public authorities, and private enterprises.

We’re excited about the potential impact of WAGEs and look forward to driving positive change in Cyprus and beyond!
